Preamble

The Faculty Senate is dedicated to serving the interests of UCO faculty members, students, and the entire campus community. The Faculty Senate exercises legislative powers, acting as the voice of the Faculty Association, to pass resolutions and proposals. Resolutions are the sentiment of the Faculty while proposals require a formal response from the President and/or Provost.

The Faculty Senate meetings are generally held at 2 pm on the second Thursday of each month during the fall and spring semesters.

The Faculty Senate wants and encourages you to address concerns and issues facing the faculty and university community. For a summary of the recent efforts of the Faculty Senate, see the 2020-2021 UCO Faculty Senate Newsletter, issues of Broncho Beat or the Legislation link.

If you have questions, please contact 2022-2023 Faculty Senate President, Dr. Alyssa Provencio.
